Why can’t I use colloquialism if it describes something better than your jumped up pretentious shit.
I am influenced by the fascinating studies of neurology and psychology.Being particularly interested in the unison of the two halves of the brain and how their defects in partnership can effectively bring out two separate consciousnesses within one person. To play with the battling hemispheres within my own brain, I forced myself to be left handed, among other brain changing activities. I found using language and pared down movements of line drawing I was able to depict what I felt was happening inside my head. Words became the material out of which to build my images. And these built on and over one another as I encountered physical feelings of a mental block which stopped me from bridging the hemispherical gap any further.
Christopher Wheeldon’s Danse à Grande Vitesse performed by The Royal Ballet. This was so so so so good. I’m annoyed I can’t find a better picture.
